Tennessee and Wytheville, Virginia
We have driven across the entire state of Tennessee into beautiful Virginia or atleast what we were able to see of it (We got in after sundown) and have arrived at probably the nicest looking KOA located in Wytheville, Virginia. I know I said that we were going to be stoping in Hershey, Pennsylvania today; well I was mistaken. We will be heading out of Virginia tomorrow morning and will be driving to Washington D.C.
From there we will be heading to Pennsylvania and then hopefully New York. Plans have been changing to accommodate the drive back home, so we might not have time to stop in planned places.
We didn’t stop for anything other than gas and rest stops but I do have some pictures I’ll be posting later today from yesterday.
Mississippi
So we stayed in New Orleans for the night, Bug Capitol of the States. One of the guys that worked at the campgrounds apparently lived in the Anaheim/Disneyland area 14 years ago and said that he was suprised by all the “alien” looking bugs when he made the move out here. Lets just say we kind of didn’t want to get out of the RV!
We woke up around 7AM and got ready to go on swamp tour. One where you go on a fan powered raft/boat and they take you around looking at crocodilian, more bugs and whatever else that you can find in a swamp, sounds exciting right? Well, we got there at 9AM in time for their first tour only to find out they were starting at 12PM today
There was really nothing to do for three hours so we just decided to make our way to Memphis Tennessee and of course, we had to pass through beautiful Mississippi first and here is a little from that.
Mississippi has some of the greenest freeways I’ve ever seen, very relaxing. And finally making an appearance for the first time on the blog Nikki, Andrew, and I (and no suprise, Andrew and I getting ready to fight).
