San Antonio, Texas
So we made it past San Antonio as of 8PM and are heading to Houston. The only thing we stoped for other than gas and a handful of rest stops was a San Antonio McDonalds and to no one’s suprise it wasn’t any different than the ones back home. So we are getting that much closer to the one place we all seem very excited to see, New Orleans. I’m really looking forward to eating some Cajun food.
White Sands, New Mexico
Our visit to the northern end of the Chihuahuan Desert, Tularosa Basin. The white sands of New Mexico. 275 square miles of white sand (literally as far as the eye can see). The sand it very cool to the touch because the sun isn’t absorbed it’s reflected so it puts a huge strain on your eyes and helps you tan at the same time
